ARTISTIC FEATS  “In the Absence of Restraint”, Hedwig Dances’ banner Spring Concert, brings the revivals of Jan Bartoszek’s I Depend on Tango (1998) and After the Fall, Desire (1999), dances of dependence and desire, “amazingly performed”…Chicago Reader, at the Athenaeum Theatre. Guest choreographer Renée Wadleigh’s Opus 38 (1999), in tandem with, the world premieres of Company Member Lisa Wymore’s How Do You Feel? and Artistic Associate Peter Sciscioli’s Subterfuge also showed brightly in the evening’s limelight.
