A Flor de Piel (Skin-deep), choreographed by Taimy Ramos, explores the nature of life’s pain and how art offers itself as a filter to effect healing. Ramos’ choreographic process begins with the creation of her visual art constructions, which serve as a springboard for an extended exploration through movement. A Flor de Piel features original music by Berlin-based, Cuban-born J-Lawton (Julio Cesar Iglesias Ungo).
