HedwigNites 2022 was a memorable evening, filled with laughter and love, spanning the spectrum of experiences. We began with an excerpted performance from Jan’s newest Bauhaus-inspired work META | MOR | PHOS – A Triadic Fiction, in preparation for its world premiere later that year at the Bauhaus Museum in Dessau Germany. We bid on unique wine baskets curated by our board members, we received a participatory keynote address from Julia Mayer, Executive Director of See Chicago Dance during which she helped us name our experiences of dance in a way we’ll not soon forget. After a delicious dinner we engaged in a lively auction for exciting items, including a weekend in Chicago package featuring a Porchlight Theatre Musical, 2 nights at the WhiteHall hotel and a dinner at the Blue Door Cafe, and a 4-course chef’s dinner with wine pairings donated by Executive Chef Tammy Pham of Siam Marina in Tinley Park and prepared by Chef Vincent Trieu. Not one, but TWO dinners were successfully bid on that night. We are so grateful for the generosity of these organizations that made donations AND to Intertrade USA for the donated red wine for dinner.
