(1995) Viva!

Description

VIVA! is a rambunctious and spunky response to mid-life created for Hedwig Dances’ 10th Anniversary Season. Sassy, fun and spirited, the premiere blends cha-cha, 1950’s inspired music and costumes, and an abundance of partnering.

Critique(s)

“The kinetic piece is vibrant and vital, with expert partnering. With an energetic cha-cha, the dancers celebrate midlife as well as life itself. There is, indeed, much to celebrate in the evening’s program.”
