Conversation II is a call and response between choreographers Jan Bartoszek and Hema Rajagopalan that blends the classical Indian form bharata natyam with modern dance. Performed as a duet, the dancers rhythmically play off of each other, at times watching and then responding to the movement. It is performed to original live music by Indian musicians with costumes by Kris Cahill.
